The 1st National Māori Sexual and Reproductive Health Conference was held for kaimahi Māori delivering sexual and reproductive health services in kaupapa Māori and ‘mainstream’ organisations.  The focus of the Conference was to build Māori sexual and reproductive health services, giving Conference participants ‘hands-on’ training, and developing a national strategic plan for Māori sexual and reproductive health.  The Conference was organised by Te Puāwai Tapu and Kōkiri Hauora Marae Services, with support from the New Zealand Aids Foundation, FPA New Zealand, PHARMAC, Ministry of Health, and Te Puni Kōkiri.
